Bounty-Pitcairn Conference 2012

the PUC support staff and local volunteers
who helped make this event an outstanding success!
Gilbert Abella, Pacific Union College (PUC) Heritage Room librarian, provided scores of hours of counsel, recording and bookkeeping in preparation for BPC 2012 and also conducted some of the morning tours of the Pitcairn Islands Study Center.
Junior Artigas, Director of PUC Library Media
Services, was responsible for all video recording and post-conference video
editing. He also set up the two Q & A Skype video chats with Pitcairn
Island, enabling the video feed to be projected onto a large screen in Angwin.
Patrick Benner, PUC computer systems librarian, supplied post-conference
technical assistance.
Erwin Choroensaengsanga, a PUC student, provided general support.
Duane Cronk organized round trip transportation
between Napa and Angwin for several BPC 2012 speakers and attendees.
Fallon Davis, a PUC student, provided general support.
Doug Ermshar gave support to the vendors during the Pitcairn Marketplace
sessions.
Jay Lewis facilitated arrangements for those speakers and attendees
taking advantage of PUC dormitory accommodation.
Josh Lucas, Assistant Director of PUC Library Media Services, assisted
with video recording and setup of the two Q & A Skype video chats with Pitcairn
Island.
Plerm Sample, who works in PUC library acquisitions, supervised the distribution of complimentary Continental
breakfasts to BPC 2012 attendees and also handled sales at the Pitcairn Islands
Study Center's table during the Pitcairn Marketplace sessions.
