Many thanks for your email with details of the Bounty-Pitcairn Conference 2012 website. This is a great idea to enable those of us who were unable to attend to be able to "participate" in a small way.

These many days after the conference in Angwin I am still marveling at all of the things that I saw and heard. The diverse speakers were each excellent, and I absorbed every word. The conference was well-run; and everything finished on time, a major feat when dealing with those who are excited and knowledgeable about their topic and have such a devoted audience. I learned much and I am so glad that I set aside time to attend. My wife was able to meet up with California friends and to see the area and do some wine tasting while I was learning. The Skype conference call with those on Pitcairn was a lot of fun and also informative. I feel a closer attachment to the island as a result.

I wanted to take a minute to recognize and thank Ted and Barbara who did a wonderful job of running the conference. Thanks also to Herb Ford and the folks at the College who helped pull this off.
